Despite Kanye West’s hospitalization and Kim Kardashian’s robbery in Paris, Stream Fan News has learned that Keeping Up With the Kardashians is still in production.
This news comes on the heels of media outlets reporting that the production team was going to continue filing through the holidays but ceased due to West’s recent hospitalization. SFN was told by show sources that filming was finished for the rest of 2016 and maybe longer because there was enough footage to be used for the time being.
Production for KUWTK was shelved briefly in October, which was after Kardashian, 36, was held at gunpoint and robbed of more than $10 million in jewelry from inside her private Parisian residence. Family insiders mentioned to SFN that Kardashian’s well-being was of their utmost importance and that no decision had be reached about production resumption.
These current updates in the production schedule come a little over a week after West, 39, was hospitalized at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center for exhaustion after an incident at his personal trainer’s residence in Los Angeles. This news came out just hours after he scrapped the rest of his Saint Pablo tour on November 21st.
SFN has been told from family sources that doctors are not going to release West any time soon as he’s not in any shape to leave yet. This was despite Kim’s appeals to have Kanye recover at home. The doctors still don’t feel he’s ready and needs more time. Sources have also divulged that Kardashian’s Paris robbery caused undue stress in West because of the mere thought that anything tragic could happen to her. West reportedly was having nightmares about it.
